Why My Wife is Amazing?

Published on Jan 23, 2014
The other night while I laid in bed I was thinking about all the things that my wife has been doing over the last nine months preparing for our daughter. First, she has let her body be completely taken over to form this new life and she has had to sacrifice so many foods that she has enjoyed before everything happened. Even while all this is happening she hasn't once stopped her normal routine of cooking, cleaning, and shopping. All those things she hasn't batted an eye at and I envy her in the fact that she hasn't once stopped to say I can't do this or that because she is pregnant. Her love for cooking these last months has only seemed to grow as she is more preoccupied with being healthier and cleansing our family of all the bad chemicals that have polluted our lives. I can honestly say that I haven't eaten better ever and now I know what it feels like to cut certain foods out of my own diet. Though despite what she does I can see in every step she takes I a better glimpse of the greatest love that God has given me here on this Earth and know for certain that He has provided for me an "excellent wife" that I don't ever want to disappoint. For every strength that she displays I want to be that much stronger for her in return. > An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands. She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar. > **Proverbs 31:10-31 (ESV)** For anyone who has a wife that seems to always find a way to to that extra step I say this, "appreciate her each and every day." Never let her feel that your love has diminished from the day you put a ring on her finger and said your vows, because she may not know it unless you say it to her often. Though as lay here now and watch our daughter grow stronger each day in my wife's belly I pray that she can experience and learn from all the love that my wife has shown me over the years we've been together.
